Job summary

Travelodge is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager for London Hackney, available on a full-time or part-time basis. You will lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times.

Your role includes developing personal development plans, recruiting and onboarding new staff, and ensuring brand standards for food and beverage where applicable, with a focus on KPI achievement and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the hotel teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans for career growth of team members.
• Recruit motivated staff and provide effective induction.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standards (if Bar Cafe hotel).
• Maximise food and beverage sales by cross- and upselling (if Bar Cafe hotel).
• Review customer feedback to implement targeted improvements.
• Maintain rooms and public areas to Travelodge standards.
• Oversee repairs or maintenance and report issues.
• Manage rotas, banking and health & safety.
• Drive engagement for team members to earn more through incentive schemes.
