Horizon Care Ltd. is recruiting an Assistant Headteacher for Thornycroft SEN School in Oldham. The role leads on curriculum and achievement, supports the Headteacher, and helps ensure high standards for pupils aged 5-19 with SEN.

Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher for our Thornycroft SEN School based in Oldham.(OL8)

Thornycroft School is a brand-new, Independent Specialist Day school providing high-quality education for up to 70 pupils.

Located in Oldham, Greater Manchester, the school will meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism.

Thornycroft School carefully preserves its local heritage, creating a calm and familiar environment that reflects its roots. Alongside this, modern facilities and thoughtfully designed spaces ensures pupils diverse needs are met in a supportive setting. As an Assistant Headteacher you will aim to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for the pupils as a member of the senior management team. Responsible for the implementation of effective policies and procedures that support the high standards of educational. You will work to assist the Head teacher in the day to day running of the school.
