Job summary

Horizon Care and Education are recruiting an Assistant Headteacher for Oak Hall School in Woking, Surrey. This SEN specialist day school will benefit from your strategic leadership, focusing on high standards, pupil wellbeing and curriculum development.

You will support the Headteacher in day-to-day operations, oversee curriculum development, assessment and safeguarding, and lead on staff development within our South region.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualification required.
• Experience as a senior leader in an SEN setting is essential.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge/qualifications.
• Good working knowledge of Ofsted expectations in SEN education.

Oak Hall School will be an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls.

Based in a quiet residential area of Woking, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with a range of complex learning needs including autism and SEN.

We have plans to offer a broad curriculum at this school so you must be prepared to assist with the development of this varied range of subjects from Barista to the performing arts!

As an Assistant Headteacher you will aim to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for the pupils as a member of the senior management team. Responsible for the implementation of effective policies and procedures that support the high standards of educational. You will work to assist the Head teacher in the day to day running of the school.
