Hartmore School, a specialist SEND school across three sites in Gloucestershire, is seeking an inspirational leader to join as Assistant Head for Teaching and Learning. You will shape curriculum, teaching, assessment and professional development while working with a supportive leadership team.

You will report to the Executive Head and oversee safeguarding, inclusion and school improvement across provisions, ensuring high expectations for every pupil and continued professional growth for staff.

• Holds QTS and proven senior teaching and leadership experience.
• Strong track record in improving teaching quality and staff development.
• Committed to inclusive education and high expectations for every pupil.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, teaching, assessment and professional development across all sites.
• Drive school improvement and safeguarding with the leadership team.
• Collaborate with Provision Leads and School Business Manager to support operations.
