Job summary

OFG Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Headteacher at Ashley Park School in Epsom to lead secondary and Post-16 education, shaping progression pathways and safeguarding across the school. You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to strengthen curriculum provision and ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

The role focuses on preparing students for further education, employment and greater independence, including those with additional needs, across the secondary age range

Qualifications

• Experience leading or developing curriculum provisions across secondary and Post-16.
• Strong knowledge of qualifications and progression pathways for SEND students.
• Proven ability to raise standards in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and assess progression pathways for students.
• Oversee assessment, examinations and accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with families and external professionals to create positive outcomes.
• Drive safeguarding, school improvement and staff development.
• Work with SLT to strengthen curricular provision and Post-16 strategies.
