Job summary

OFG Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant at Ashley Park School in Epsom, Surrey. This permanent role is term-time only, 37.5 hours weekly, with a salary of £22,160.62 per annum. You will provide 1:1 and classroom support to students with additional needs, working with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to help learners reach their potential.

Previous SEN experience is beneficial but not essential. Training and wellbeing support are provided within a nurturing, personalised education

Qualifications

• No years of specialist education experience required.
• SEN experience beneficial but not essential.
• Willing to complete induction and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support to learners.
• Build positive relationships to help students feel safe and ready to learn.
• Support teachers with engaging, personalised activities.
• Encourage development of confidence, independence, and communication.
• Ensure a calm, inclusive environment and monitor student progress.
