Willenhall E-ACT Academy in Willenhall is seeking an experienced Assistant Headteacher to lead pastoral care, attendance and student wellbeing as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will drive high expectations, foster inclusion and shape a culture of excellence across the academy.

The role requires QTS and proven leadership in a secondary setting, with line management of pastoral staff, collaboration with families and external agencies, and a data‑driven approach to improving outcomes for

Competenze

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with senior leadership experience in a secondary school.
• Proven experience improving attendance outcomes and leading behaviour strategies.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.

Mansioni

• Lead attendance, behaviour, pastoral care and student wellbeing across the academy.
• Drive improvements in attendance and conduct through data‑led interventions.
• Line manage pastoral leaders, Heads of Year and attendance staff.
• Collaborate with families, external agencies and authorities to remove barriers to learning.
• Support whole‑school improvement as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
