Job summary

Willenhall E-ACT Academy is seeking an ambitious Assistant Headteacher - Pastoral to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will lead attendance, behaviour and pastoral care, driving high standards and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QTS with successful leadership experience in a secondary school.
• Proven experience improving attendance outcomes and leading behaviour strategies.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management, safeguarding and inclusion.
• Ability to analyse attendance, behaviour and pastoral data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead attendance, behaviour, pastoral care and student wellbeing.
• Drive improvements in attendance and conduct through data-led interventions.
• Line manage pastoral leaders, Heads of Year and attendance staff.
• Work with families, external agencies and local authorities to remove barriers to learning.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
