Job summary

Qualifications

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner capable of modelling outstanding teaching.
• Have successful experience of leading a team, subject or phase.
• Strong understanding of effective pedagogy and curriculum design.
• Able to analyse and use data to drive school improvement.
• Demonstrate the ability to coach, motivate and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the school.
• Take responsibility for a phase (e.g. key stage), ensuring high standards of achievement, behaviour and curriculum provision.
• Contribute significantly to school self-evaluation, improvement planning and strategic leadership.
• Be a visible and proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team.
