Whittle Academy in Coventry is seeking an outstanding Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team and drive excellence across our school. You will lead high-quality teaching, take responsibility for a phase, contribute to self-evaluation and improvement planning, and be a visible, proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The role requires Qualified Teacher Status, strong pedagogy, data-driven analysis, and the ability to coach and develop others while upholding safeguarding,

Qualifications

  • Have successful experience of leading a team, subject or phase.

About the role

We areseeking an outstanding and ambitious Assistant Headteacher to join ourleadership team and play a key role in driving excellence across our school.

All staff areexpected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by thetrust/academy.
