Wigmore Primary School in England is seeking an ambitious Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to join our Senior Leadership Team and drive our SEND strategy and inclusive practice across the curriculum.

You will lead high-quality SEND provision, oversee EHCP processes, develop staff through CPD and mentoring, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing are embedded throughout school life. This is a pivotal leadership role with significant impact on outcomes for all pupils.

Formación

• Proven experience leading inclusion and SEND provision in a primary school setting.
• Ability to drive school-wide inclusion strategies and Quality First Teaching.
• Demonstrated leadership within a Senior Leadership Team and with governors.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Leadership: Drive whole-school improvement and inclusion strategy as a key SLT member.
• Provision & Inclusion: Lead SEND provision, including ARP, and ensure tailored support.
• Team Development: Line manage pastoral, teaching and support teams with CPD and mentoring.
• Statutory Compliance & Partnerships: Oversee EHCP processes and liaise with LA and families.
• Resource Management: Allocate high-needs funding and SEND budgets for impact.
• Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Collaborate with the DSL to ensure safe, supportive environments.
