Job summary

Idle CE Primary School in Bradford is seeking an exceptional leader to join its Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion, SEND and Safeguarding. You will shape whole-school inclusion, lead SEND provision and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, driving strategic development and pastoral excellence.

Responsibilities

Shape and lead the school's vision for inclusion across the whole school.
Lead SEND provision and fulfil the role of SENDCo.
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and oversee safeguarding across the school.
Develop The Hub as a provision for pupils needing additional support.
Support colleagues to adopt inclusive practice and adaptive teaching.
Collaborate with families and external agencies to secure best outcomes.
Contribute to whole-school improvement as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Uphold the Christian vision and values of Idle CE Primary School.
