Location: New Barn School, Newbury, RG20 8HZ

Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are recruiting an Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and SEND at New Barn School in Newbury, supporting pupils aged 6 to 19 with SEMH and other complex needs.

Who we are looking for:

An experienced leader with a background in working with young people with complex learning needs, SEMH experience preferred, capable of fostering a culture of excellence, understanding curriculum design and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Headteacher in ensuring high standards and attainment through engaging personal development programs.
2. Lead on areas such as Careers, Work Experience, Enrichment, Trips, Visits, PSHE, and staff training.
3. Model outstanding classroom practice and provide visible leadership.
