Assistant Headteacher - The Role:
The successfully appointed Assistant Headteacher will be required to:
Lead the day-to-day management of the school site in the absence of the Headteacher
Champion mental health and wellbeing across the school for staff and pupils
Support the Headteacher in driving the school s vision, strategic goals, and high standards of education
Formulate, implement, and review school aims, policies, and procedures
Lead on ABA/VB (Applied Behaviour Analysis/Verbal Behaviour) practices and embed them across teaching
Monitor progress and manage staff and resources to achieve school objectives
Additional Responsibilities:
Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
Lead a team of Mental Health and Wellbeing Champions
Oversee the Community & Life Skills Curriculum
Manage work-related learning and transition to post-16 opportunities
