Job summary

The Bishop of Llandaff CiW High School in Cardiff seeks an Assistant Head responsible for the Specialist Resource Base (SRB) and overall inclusion across the school. You will drive inclusive practices and welfare, leading a dedicated team to support students with ASD/SLD and broader inclusion needs.

The role requires a strong ALN and wellbeing background, with senior leadership experience and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Strong background in additional learning needs (ALN), wellbeing and inclusion.
• Experience leading a specialist resource base (SRB) or similar.
• Evidence of safeguarding and pastoral leadership within schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Marion Centre SRB, providing strategic oversight of inclusive education.
• Provide strategic leadership for mainstream inclusion and wellbeing across the school.
• Manage and support head of inclusion/ALNCo and related staff.
