TeacherActive is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream school in Cardiff, to support pupils within its SRB base. The role is long-term and full-time, with duties including supporting learning, engagement and individual needs alongside teaching staff.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEN, be patient and a team player, and fit into a supportive school environment that values safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs.
• Experience working within a school, SRB or similar educational setting.
• Patient and resilient, with ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the SRB base and in learning activities.
• Help pupils with learning, engagement and individual needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide consistent classroom support.
