Job summary

Roomzzz Manchester is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join the team at The Ainscow, Salford/Manchester area. You will clean and service guest rooms to high standards, ensure linen is fresh, and maintain a welcoming, courteous approach for guests.

Flexibility is required as this is a zero-hour contract with weekend and bank holiday shifts. Training and company benefits are provided to support your role in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar role preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Head Housekeeper to align room cleaning with guest check-ins and departures.
• Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, dusting, ironing linen and cleaning to a high standard.
• Deliver consistently high cleanliness standards and polite guest service.
• Report any defects or areas of concern to Management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper to join our Manchester Hotel!

The Ainscow in Salford, Manchester, boasts 85 rooms, spacious Reception and Dining areas with a large car park. Located in Manchester’s most popular destinations, with Spinningfields and Deansgate right on our doorstep.

Main Duties

• Liaise with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned in conjunction with guest check in and departures.
• Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, clean to a high standard and perform other duties as advised by the Senior Housekeeping team.
• Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, looking after guests needs and maintaining a polite and courteous attitude.
• Reporting any defects such as faults and any areas of concern to Management.

Experience of working in a hotel or in a similar position would be desirable but not essential.

This role is a zero hour contract on a rota basis, which will include weekends and Bank Holidays. Hours are subject to hotel occupancy.
