Job summary

The Copthorne Hotel Manchester, part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, invites an experienced Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator to join the team at Salford Quays. You will ensure all enquiry details are recorded and communicated effectively with operational teams to enable smooth events.

You will work with the Sales Manager to maximise enquiries, upsell equipment, F&B and facilities, and handle function sheets and weekly updates for the Operations Team.

Qualifications

• Hospitality and customer service experience required.
• Experience in Conference & Events Sales Administration/Coordinator role preferred.
• Experience with Opera PMS/Sales and Catering systems.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Meeting & Events Sales team reporting to the Sales Manager.
• Answer and handle enquiries promptly and courteously.
• Identify client requirements and how the hotel can meet their needs.
• Maximise sales, occupancy and revenue through upselling equipment, F&B and facilities.
• Input enquiries into Sales & Catering system accurately.
• Prepare function sheets and distribute weekly, updating Operations as required.
• Collaborate with the team to meet department objectives and budget.
