Job summary

PureGym Ltd. in Oxford is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead a team and deliver exceptional member experiences under the guidance of the Gym Manager.

The role focuses on recruiting and developing staff, driving membership growth through outreach and community events, and maintaining high service standards across the club. A L2 gym instruction qualification and group exercise experience are required.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Experience leading a gym team and driving member engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience through service and standards with the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to attract new joiners via outreach and events.
• Lead and develop a team of fitness professionals, including trainers and instructors.
• Provide ongoing training to staff and enhance their career growth.
• Manage and improve Group Exercise offerings within the gym.
