Job summary

Fairmont Cheshire's The Mere is seeking an capable Greenkeeper to maintain premier turf and course features. You will operate and maintain turf machinery, help implement renovations and ensure health and safety standards on site in Knutsford.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance preferred; working towards considered.
• Minimum 2 years in greenkeeping, sports turf or grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating mowers, tractors and implements.
• COSHH and health & safety awareness for outdoor work.
• Knowledge of turf care: mowing, aeration, irrigation and nutrition.

• Understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations, including safe machinery use and COSHH
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
• A passion for golf course presentation and delivering exceptional playing conditions
