Job summary

Wendy's Glasgow is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the daily restaurant operations and staff, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager. You will focus on staffing, training and scheduling to build and retain a high‑caliber 5‑star team, while driving store performance and profitability.

Ideal candidates will have prior leadership in food service, at least 1 year in line operations and 1 year in management, with flexibility to cover a 45‑hour week across all shifts and duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in a fast-paced food service environment.
• At least 1 year of line operations leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Willingness to work a 45-hour week and be available across all day parts.

Responsibilities

• Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant.
• Focus specifically on staffing, training and scheduling, all of which will help build and retain a 5-star team.
• Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development.
• Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is the right place at the right time.
• Be the face of the restaurant to new hires, and crew members’
