Job summary

Homes for Students in Bedford is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Polhill Park. This full-time role (40 hours) covers 7.00am–6.00pm, overseeing sales, maintenance and housekeeping with a focus on customer service and team leadership.

You will support the General Manager during the September period, ensuring smooth check-in/out and room turnaround while guiding a diverse team and upholding health and safety standards.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service across our sales, maintenance, and housekeeping departments. The highlight of your role will be the bustling September period, where you will support the General Manager and the wider site team inthe check-in, check-out, and room turnaround processes. Person Specification:

• Previous experience in team management within a similar role or environment

• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is desirable but not essential
