Job summary

Côte Brasserie is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running a busy Brasserie, ensuring exceptional service and efficient operations.

You will lead front-of-house teams, train staff, manage rotas and costs, and work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a consistently high standard. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus tronc, 40 hours guaranteed, a performance bonus, meals on duty, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory/management experience in a high-volume restaurant or brasserie.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality, food and wine.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure service standards reflect the quality and style of a classic French brasserie.
• Assist with training your team members, developing them internally and managing performance.
• Help manage rotas, labour costs, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
