Job summary

The Ivy Collection is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic restaurant team. You will support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and take full responsibility in their absence, helping to deliver our renowned guest experience.

You will lead a high performing team, manage budgets and costs, and embody our caring service with strong English communication, charisma and flair. 2+ years in this role and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in this position.
• Strong leadership skills and team management capability.
• Excellent English language skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day management of the restaurant, taking full responsibility in their absence.
• Maintain responsibility for budget management and cost control to support profitability.
• Lead, inspire and motivate the restaurant team to deliver consistent, high-level guest service.

Your key responsibilities as Assistant General Manager:

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, taking full responsibility in their absence.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall strategic planning, development, and success of the restaurant together with the General Manager and Head Chef
• Assume responsibility for budget management, including the management of direct and indirect costs.
• Maintain responsibility for leading, inspiring, and motivating the restaurant team to achieve stability, productivity, and loyalty.
• To consistently act as a role-model in delivering the highest standard of guest service.
