David Lloyd Leisure Ltd in Oxford is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a premium health and wellness club. You will work with the General Manager to drive targets, ensure exceptional member experience, and oversee daily operations seven days a week.

The role focuses on people leadership, health & safety compliance, and delivering a culture where teams and members can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large operational service delivery facilities such as clubs, attractions or similar.
• Strong focus on customer service and member experience.
• Experience with financial planning and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies to hit club targets.

Assistant General Managers are people-focused and have full accountability in leading and operating a successful DL Club and giving our members an excellent experience every day, 7 days a week. You will work closely with the General Manager to implement strategies to drive club targets and member experience, alongside ensuring a smooth operation making sure day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to for everyone in the club. About you:

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• Passionate about customer service.
