Job summary

BAO Battersea is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the front of house with care, consistency and attention to detail in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, coach the FOH team, and deliver warm, memorable guest experiences that reflect BAO's brand and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant.
• Natural team leader with clear communication and growth focus.
• Confident in shift management, floor coordination, and basic back-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in the daily running of the restaurant—leading service and managing the pace, energy, and flow of the floor.
• Create memorable guest experiences through warm, thoughtful service.

The Restaurant

BAO Noodle Shop in the iconic Battersea Power Station. Perch around the expansive wrap around counter, where chefs serve bowlfuls of beef noodle soup, xiao chi and BAO.Bao's goal is to create restaurants that offer a different experience to each other, inspired by our founder's upbringing and travels around Asia. Each restaurant within the group has a unique menu and a different story.

The Position

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the GM in the daily running of the restaurant - leading service and managing the pace, energy, and flow of the floor
