Job summary

Bread Street Kitchen - Battersea, part of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the front-of-house team and help run the busy restaurant.

You will work closely with the General Manager to coach staff, elevate guest experiences, and drive turnover and profitability across a multi-brand hospitality group while fostering development and excellence in service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the restaurant team under the General Manager.
• Inspire, motivate and coach staff to achieve stability, productivity and loyalty.
• Ensure managers and teams receive coaching and training.
• Build relationships across the business and drive turnover and profitability.

Job description

Bread Street Kitchen in the iconic Battersea Power Station is a bustling, large and breath-taking space - providing real round the clock dining and drinking - whether it's an early breakfast meeting, after work drinks or a large group dinner, this restaurant concept can do it all.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Assistant General Manager to work as part of the front of house team at Bread Street Kitchen - Battersea.

Key Accountabilities as an Assistant General Manager:

• Working closely with the General Manager as a key figure within the restaurant and overall running of the team & restaurant
• Maintain responsibility with the General Manager for leading, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve stability, productivity and loyalty
• Ensure managers and their teams are supported via coaching and training.
• Build and maintain effective relationships across the business, acting as a figurehead for the restaurant and driving improved productivity, turnover and profitability
• Identify business opportunities which provide greatest return on investment aligned with company strategy
