Job summary

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in London is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator on a fixed-term contract. You will coordinate enquiries, support event bookings and ensure details are managed from enquiry to event, working closely with the Sales & Events team.

The role offers exposure to intimate to large corporate events across multiple venues, with responsibilities including diary management, contract follow-up, CRM (Salesforce) usage, and high-quality guest service in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

  • Experience in high quality guest service environments.
  • Excellent problem-resolution and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Full management and co-ordination of Private Dining & Events from enquiry to hand over to the restaurant to deliver the event.
  • Effective account management to maximise revenue and meet budgets.
  • Main point of contact between operations and sales team.
  • Ensure contracts are put in place and signed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with corporate and private clients and manage diaries for timely follow-up.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants operate string of successful restaurants and dining destinations globally from michelin stars to relaxed all day dining, from the UK and France to Dubai, Singapore and the United States.

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sales & Events Coordinator to join the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants team on a fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a real passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Working closely with our Sales & Events team, you’ll play an important role in coordinating enquiries, supporting event bookings and ensuring every detail is taken care of from the initial enquiry through to the event itself.

From intimate celebrations to large-scale corporate events, you’ll be part of creating memorable experiences across some of London’s most exciting restaurants and venues, while gaining valuable experience within one of the UK’s most recognised hospitality groups.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Full management and co-ordination of Private Dining & Events from enquiry to hand over to the restaurant to deliver the event.
  • Effective account management of all designated accounts to ensure revenue is maximised and budgets are achieved
  • Main point of contact between operations and sales team
  • Ensure contracts are put in place for each event and signed and returned by clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective liaison with the corporate and private clients
  • Effective diary management to enable timely follow up enquiries and completion of client contracts
  • Ensure efficient use of the CRM (Salesforce) system and ensure all enquiries are recorded on the system
  • Be proactive and identify potential opportunities to improve event and private dining revenue
  • Maintain good relationships with the restaurants to maximise revenue and optimize occupancy of event / private dining spaces
  • Support with department administration
  • Ensure all emails are responded to within a timely manner
  • Follow up on all allocated events feedback after the event in a timely manner ensuring any negative feedback is effectively handled
  • Ensure attendance at the restaurants when there is key client event / dinner taking place to ensure the event is set up as requested and the client is effectively greeted
  • Delivery of adhoc projects as requested by the Commercial Operations Director and the Account Managers
Requirements:
  • Currently work in high quality guest service environment
  • Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation
  • High organisation skills and respectful of current company processes
  • Is uncompromising in achieving company standards
  • Problem solving, active and adaptable listening skillsKnowledge of hospitality industry standards
  • Quickly build rapport with team and guests
  • Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
  • Knowledge, experience and qualifications:
  • Knowledge of restaurant diary systems (Opentable Guest Centre preferable)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment
