WSH Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Clockspire Restaurant in the UK. You will work with the General Manager to lead all aspects of restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and deliver strong financial results through effective team leadership and process improvements.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion high standards, staff development, and compliance, ensuring a consistent, memorable dining experience for every guest across shifts.

• Lead and develop front and back of house teams to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Address performance issues promptly and in line with policies.
• Promote a positive workplace culture with guest-centric focus.

As the Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Clockspire Restaurant, you will be a senior leader within the business, working alongside the General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. You will be responsible for driving exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, delivering strong financial results, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the highest operational standards

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Support the General Manager in implementing operational strategies and business objectives.
• Take full responsibility for the operation during assigned shifts and in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure all company standards, procedures, and service expectations are consistently maintained.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and attention to detail.
• Lead, motivate, and inspire all front and back of house teams.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, induction, and retention of team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and development conversations.
• Coach managers and supervisors to strengthen leadership capability across the business.
• Address performance concerns promptly and fairly in accordance with company policies.
• Support succession planning and identify future leaders within the team.
• Promote employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Champion exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction at all times.
• Build meaningful relationships with regular guests and key stakeholders.
• Handle complex guest complaints and service recovery situations professionally.
• Ensure every guest receives a consistent and memorable dining experience.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvement plans where necessary.
• Uphold the Clockspire brand standards across all aspects of the guest journey
