Role

The organisation is looking for a junior lawyer to join its Legal & Compliance team in a newly created role. The successful candidate will provide commercial and regulatory support across the EMEALA region.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Draft and negotiate agreements including distribution agreements, rebate agreements, side letters, broker terms, and investment management agreements.
2. Draft a variety of commercial contracts such as vendor contracts, NDAs, and marketing agreements.
3. Advise on financial services regulations including MIFID II, EMIR, UCITS, and AIFMD.
4. Draft data processing agreements and privacy policies.
5. Maintain contract databases and internal procedures.
6. Assist the legal team in maintaining and expanding its know-how and precedents database.
7. Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
8. Provide legal support on ad hoc legal matters.
