Job summary

Harbour Hotels in Exmouth is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with responsibility for Bar & Events to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support the seamless operation of the F&B department.

The role requires strong bar and beverage knowledge, cocktail skills, and a hands-on leader who can drive sales, manage multiple events from weddings to private celebrations, and develop the team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' Food & Beverage experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Experience in a quality hotel, restaurant or events environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences while supporting the smooth operation of the F&B department.
• Lead the successful delivery of weddings, private celebrations, parties and social gatherings, ensuring high standards.
• Be a hands-on, enthusiastic leader, developing the team and driving sales for events.
• Coordinate and motivate a team to ensure flawless service across bar and events.

The role…

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, with specific responsibility for Bar & Events, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our Food & Beverage department.

You will have good bar and beverage product knowledge, including cocktail-making skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. A key focus of your role will be the successful delivery of weddings, private celebrations, parties and social gatherings, ensuring every occasion is memorable and delivered to the highest standards.

You will have a minimum of two years' Food & Beverage experience, including at least one year in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally within a quality hotel, restaurant or events environment. You will be highly organised, confident in leading and motivating a team, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Above all, you will be a hands-on, enthusiastic leader with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences. You will take pride in developing your team, driving sales and ensuring the successful delivery of every event, from intimate celebrations to larger weddings and functions.
