Thomson Pettie Ltd, a Scottish manufacturing and engineering business, is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to oversee the group’s finance function and deliver robust management reporting. The role will involve cross-site collaboration across South Lanarkshire locations and travel to other group sites, with a hands-on approach to improve processes and partner with leadership.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified or through-experience accountant with strong management accounting

Formación

• Strong management accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong commercial and analytical ability.
• Confidence to work with senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly management accounts across the Group.
• Produce management information for senior management.
• Conduct product costing and profitability analysis.
• Perform pricing and margin analyses.
• Conduct BOM analysis and stock valuation.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Provide bank reporting and credit control support.
• Work with large data sets to improve reporting.
