Job summary

Anglian Home Improvements is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Group Financial Controller in delivering accurate reporting, strong financial control and clear insight across a busy, multi-site business.

This role offers breadth, senior exposure and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, stronger controls and high-quality financial insight within a supportive finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong post-qualification experience.
• Background in management accounts, financial accounts, reporting and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting packs.
• Supporting statutory accounts, audit activity, VAT, corporation tax and wider compliance requirements.
• Strengthening financial controls, governance and reporting processes across the Group.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and treasury activity.
• Providing clear financial insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Guiding and supporting colleagues within the Group Finance team.
