The CFO HQ in Norwich is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Group Financial Controller with accurate reporting, strong financial control and insightful analysis across our busy, multi-site business.

You will contribute to maintaining robust governance, improving finance processes and providing timely information to guide decision-making. This is a broad, visible role for a technically strong finance professional who thrives on detail and collaboration.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience.
• Solid background in management accounts, financial accounts, reporting and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel and confidence with financial systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs.
• Support statutory accounts, audit activity, VAT, corporation tax and compliance.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting across the group.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury activity.
• Provide clear financial insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
