Gigaclear plc is seeking a qualified Accountant to lead Financial Controls, Risk Management and Corporate Governance from our Abingdon Head Office on a hybrid basis. You will deputise for the Financial Controller and oversee statutory and monthly management accounts, board packs and the year-end audit.

With 5+ years' experience and IFRS knowledge (IFRS 16 beneficial), you will drive improvements, manage 1–2 finance staff and contribute to a robust financial framework for a £50m+ turnover

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Familiar with IFRS and IFRS 16 beneficial
• Experience leading statutory and management accounts and audits
• Total experience of at least 5 years, with exposure to £50m+ turnover companies

Note: this is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week based out of our Abingdon Head Office. Please consider this before applying.

You will also deputise for the Financial Controller, prepare statutory and monthly management accounts, board packs, and lead the year-end financial audit.

The role will also manage one to two members of the finance team.

You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA and familiar with IFRS. A good understanding of IFRS 16 would be beneficial.

It is likely you will have worked in practice and audit and ideally will bring some in-house, commercial experience, with at least 5 years total experience.

Experience will also include working with companies with £50m+ turnover, with an understanding of the complexities of group statutory accounts (consolidated accounts).
