Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established business in Lincoln. You will support the Financial Controller and finance team across management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and cash flow management.

This role offers exposure to wider finance projects, systems improvements, and career growth opportunities while studying towards a professional accounting qualification.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills and finance experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Proactive and collaborative with good communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate reporting.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist year-end close.
• Assist with P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and system improvements.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with statutory accounts.
