Looking to take the next step in your finance career? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Accountant to support a busy finance function with a mix of hands-on accounting, reporting, and reconciliation work.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and a solid foundation in finance who is looking to broaden their experience in a professional, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end processes including reconciliations and reporting

Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to support management decision-making

Process ledger entries and maintain financial records with a high degree of accuracy

Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring smooth financial operations

Work closely with internal teams to support financial processes and reporting deadlines

Assist with cash flow processes and intercompany transactions

Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial controls and processes

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role (e.g., reconciliations, ledgers, reporting)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas)

Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to a wider team

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Organised, methodical, and keen to develop professionally
