We are open to someone joining us on a 4 or 5 day week.

What You’ll Be Doing

In short: preparing to lead. But here’s what that looks like day to day:

• Partnering with the Finance Manager to deliver monthly reporting, management accounts, and forecasts
• Playing a key role in budgeting and strategic financial planning
• Taking ownership of reconciliations, reporting packs, and internal controls
• Contributing to board-level insights with smart financial analysis
• Supporting external audits and end-of-year processes
• Working alongside the current Finance Manager with an open mind on being mentored to progress their career
• Spotting inefficiencies and helping us fix them

• A solid foundation in finance: part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Around 3+ years of experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to reporting, controls, and planning
• An analytical brain, eagle-eyed attention to detail, and real commercial awareness
• Confidence using Excel and financial systems
• Excellent communication skills and the initiative to make things happen
• Be flexible and work from the office a minimum of 2 days a week
