Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

  • Mon: Full-time (Days)
  • Tues: Full-time (Days)
  • Weds: Full-time (Days)
  • Thurs: Full-time (Days)
  • Fri: Full-time (Days)
  • Sat: To be confirmed
  • Sun: To be confirmed
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly information into the nexus system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Finalize weekly bookwork and ensure correct closure and electronic filing.
  • Compile UDT trackers and send updates to unit managers and senior team.
  • Submit UDT trackers to the Contracts Director by the deadline.
  • Support administration of Foodbuy and The Source systems.
  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
  • Support investigation and resolution of payroll queries.
  • Analyze OurTime system data for information requests.
  • Participate in profit protection processes and audits.
  • Coordinate ad hoc purchase requests.
  • Act as a Compass advocate, maintaining professionalism.
  • Utilize Symphony till system for data and reports.
  • Contribute to financial improvements and monitor purchasing.
  • Manage PO purchase orders and client invoicing.
  • Complete month-end financial reviews via SAP.
  • Develop relationships with clients and customers.
  • Promote health and safety practices.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven track record in administration and finance management.
  • Adaptable, with a proactive approach to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and supportive of change.
  • Experience as an assistant finance manager in high-volume outlets (minimum 2+ years).
  • Good understanding of financial systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
