We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly information into the nexus system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Finalize weekly bookwork and ensure correct closure of books and electronic files.
  • Compile UDT trackers and send updates to managers and the Contracts Director by deadlines.
  • Support administration of Foodbuy and The Source systems, inputting data as required.
  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met, and investigate payroll queries.
  • Support analysis of the OurTime system for information requests.
  • Participate in profit protection processes and audits.
  • Coordinate purchase requests like uniforms and supplies.
  • Act as a Compass advocate, maintaining a professional manner.
  • Utilize and analyze the Symphony till system for data and reports.
  • Contribute to financial improvements and monitor purchasing activities.
  • Manage PO purchase orders and client invoicing.
  • Complete month-end financial reviews via the SAP system.
  • Develop relationships with clients and customers.
  • Promote health and safety standards, demonstrating excellent personal behaviors.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent administration standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities with a hands-on approach.
  • Understanding of the importance of deadlines.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, with the ability to support change at pace.
  • Experience in implementing ideas and changes positively.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Compliance with guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to exceed customer and client expectations.
  • Good knowledge of the food and retail industry.
  • Strong administrative, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Proactive, practical, and promotes best practices.
  • At least 2+ years experience as an assistant finance manager in high-volume outlets.
  • Understanding of financial systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
