Job summary

IWFM is seeking an Assistant Facilities Operations Manager to lead soft FM teams across a complex, campus-based estate in the City of London. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for service delivery, contractor performance, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, drive efficiencies, and ensure H&S and compliance. On-site work only, 43k–48k salary, 30 days leave, generous pension, and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or Soft FM operations.
• Proven ability to monitor KPIs, SLAs and performance.
• Experience managing budgets and driving efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Facilities teams across Soft FM services.
• Ensure services are delivered to agreed standards, KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage contractor and supplier performance with regular reviews.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and respond to operational requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through service inspections and performance monitoring.
• Support budget management and value for money across services.
• Champion health, safety and compliance.
• Deputise for the Facilities Operations Manager when required.
• Participate in operational Duty Manager rota for campus operations/events.
