Job summary

Strand Palace in central London is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Head Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping team and upholding the highest standards across all areas of the hotel.

You will help deliver the mission of “Serving London Love” by ensuring exceptional guest experiences, staff development, and efficient day-to-day operations in a busy hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing large teams
• Approachable, hands-on, and passionate about guest experience
• Drive to continually improve service and exceed guest expectations

Responsibilities

• Monitor flow of rooms and readiness for check-ins
• Manage day-to-day operations in absence of Executive Head Housekeeper
• Manage payroll and expenses for the department
• Conduct daily spot checks and report maintenance or quality issues
• Monitor performance of team and coordinate with agency partners
• Identify operational challenges and deliver improvement solutions
