Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Assistant Consultant in Cost Intelligence and Estimating to join our Civil Infrastructure and Utilities group. You will support and gradually lead elements of estimating, cost planning, benchmarking and commercial insight for major infrastructure programmes across the built environment.

Join a large, collaborative team within the PMCM portfolio, with opportunities to work on diverse projects, visit sites and client offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified or apprenticed in quantity surveying or related professional experience.
• Experience in estimating, cost planning or commercial reporting.
• Interest in infrastructure, construction and the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, support or review cost estimates and cost plans.
• Benchmark project costs and analyze tender information.
• Support procurement activity and advise on commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate findings clearly.
