Job summary

S I Sealy and Associates Ltd is seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer in Stockport to support the design and delivery of electrical building services across the relevant RIBA work stages. You will work under experienced engineers to develop power, lighting, fire alarm and ICT designs.

The role suits an early-career engineer with a relevant qualification and up to 3 years of consultancy experience. You will participate in site surveys, attend meetings and help deliver Revit/BIM projects.

Qualifications

• HNC, Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Approx. 1 to 3 years of experience within a consultancy environment.
• Understanding of BS 7671 and electrical design principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce calculations, schematics and technical reports.
• Prepare design drawings and specifications.

The Role

Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will support the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across the relevant RIBA work stages. This opportunity may also suit an electrical contractor who is looking to move into a design office environment and develop their design consultancy skills.

Key Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For
