Job summary

PSR Solutions in Coventry is seeking an Assistant Design Manager on a permanent basis to join a leading main contractor. You will oversee design activities across pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring alignment with programme, budget and employer requirements.

The role requires proven experience in managing high-value design projects from a main contractor's perspective, strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of Building Regulations and Planning permissions.

• Proven experience in managing complex, high-value design projects from a main contractor's perspective.
• Strong organisational skills to plan, schedule and manage multiple workloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design processes during pre-construction and construction phases; analyse Employer's Requirements; collaboration with internal teams to develop Contractor's Proposals.
• Coordinate and supervise external design consultants.
• Implement innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of design information and resolve issues within strict deadlines.
• Participate in tender launches, adjudications, and project initiation meetings as needed.
