Job summary

Brent Council is looking for an Assistant Curriculum Manager to drive learning success across Vocational programmes (Digital Skills, Early Years, Health & Social Care). You will work closely with the teaching team and support the Curriculum Manager in the delivery, design and development of our courses, maintaining an oversight of the student journey to ensure an excellent learning experience.

The role requires a generic Level 5 adult teaching/training qualification, Level 2 Maths and English,

Qualifications

• A generic adult teaching/training qualification at level 5 e.g. DTTLS or equivalent
• Level 2 Maths and English, minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
• Relevant successful teaching experience in Digital Skills OR Early Years or Health & Social Care
• Experience of developing and implementing policies to support learners and curriculum
• A track record of working with awarding organisations
• Experience of leading a team
• Good IT skills, including use of databases, spreadsheets and virtual learning environments
