Job summary

Brent Council is seeking an Assistant Curriculum Manager to drive learning success by working with the teaching team and supporting the Curriculum Manager in delivering vocational programmes across Digital Skills, Early Years, and Health & Social Care. The role focuses on learner progression and a high-quality student journey.

Qualifications

• Generic adult teaching/training qualification at level 5
• Level 2 Maths and English, minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies
• Relevant teaching experience in Digital Skills OR Early Years OR Health & Social Care
• Experience of developing and implementing policies to support learners and curriculum
• Track record of working with awarding organisations
• Experience of leading a team
• Good IT skills, including databases, spreadsheets and virtual learning environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning success through close collaboration with the teaching team and support the Curriculum Manager in delivery, design and development of Vocational programmes (Digital Skills, Early Years, Health & Social Care)
• Maintain an oversight of the student journey to ensure an excellent learning experience
