Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and able mathematician for the post of Assistant Curriculum Leader of Mathematics.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree and a teaching qualification, and will bring the drive and dedication to secure high standards of pupil progression and attainment. You will have strong organisational and people-management skills, and the confidence to coordinate our A-Level and Further Maths A-Level programmes from the outset.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with experience and ability to lead and help manage a team. Mathematics is a popular choice in our Sixth Form, with around 300 students studying it and up to a quarter of them also taking Further Maths. We currently run sixteen AS/A2 Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics classes, so the ability to teach Further Maths at A-Level is advantageous.
