Job summary

Witherslack Group's Greenholm School in South West London is seeking a cook to join our team, helping to prepare and serve tasty, nutritious meals for pupils, staff and visitors. You will follow food hygiene rules and safety, plan varied menus with dietary requirements in mind, and create meals that encourage children to try new foods.

This 20-hour-per-week role offers full school holiday breaks, induction and on‑the‑job training, and a supportive environment within an inclusive education and

• Experience catering in a professional setting.
• Basic Food Hygiene and Safety certificate.
• Hard-working, friendly and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Follow food hygiene and safety rules and health and safety procedures.
• Plan varied menus with dietary requirements in mind.

You’ll be expected to follow food hygiene rules and keep health and safety in mind, but the key is to create varied menus that encourage our young people to try new food. You’ll help plan meals, taking into account any specific dietary requirements.
