Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a cook to join Greenholm School, a specialist day school in South West London. You will prepare and serve tasty, nutritious meals for pupils, staff and visitors, at the heart of the school, while considering dietary requirements.

You will follow food hygiene and safety rules, contribute to varied menus, and assist with meal planning to accommodate special needs and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

  • Experience catering in a professional setting.
  • Basic Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate.
  • Hard working, friendly and dependable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve tasty, nutritious food to pupils, staff and visitors.
  • Follow food hygiene rules and health and safety in the kitchen.
  • Help plan meals, taking into account dietary requirements.

You’ll be expected to follow food hygiene rules and keep health and safety in mind, but the key is to create varied menus that encourage our young people to try new food. You’ll help plan meals, taking into account any specific dietary requirements.
